Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tanks
KAF Cryogenics supplies liquid nitrogen storage tanks for food processing, metal processing, pharmaceutical production and industrial nitrogen supply. Vacuum-insulated bulk tanks support liquid withdrawal or gaseous nitrogen supply according to the application.
Capacity for the Supply Cycle
The LIN/LOX/LAR stationary range includes capacities up to 1,000 m³ and MAWP options from 3 to 37 bar. The nitrogen tank model is selected from consumption, delivery frequency, usable filling volume and operating reserve; not every capacity is available at every pressure.
Define whether nitrogen is required as a liquid or gas. Liquid withdrawal connections are specified for the receiving process. Gaseous supply requires a vaporizer selected for flow, outlet pressure, ambient conditions and operating duration.
Tank Construction and Site Layout
A stainless steel inner vessel, carbon steel outer jacket and insulated vacuum space support low-temperature storage. Vertical or horizontal orientation, supports and connections are selected for the installation.
Filling arrangements, pressure control, relief devices, level measurement and downstream connections are coordinated with the process. Product purity and application-specific requirements are supplied with the inquiry. Design and test documentation are agreed for the selected equipment.
