Repair, Maintenance & Rehab Works

KAF Cryogenics provides inspection, maintenance and refurbishment support for cryogenic and pressure equipment throughout its service life. Services are planned according to the condition of the individual unit, its operating history, the available design information, operational requirements and the standards applicable to the equipment.

The service scope can include inspection and testing, component replacement, repairs, refurbishment and rehab works, modernization and upgrades, and both on-site and workshop support. Vacuum services address the insulation space of vacuum-insulated equipment: a rising boil-off or evaporation rate is typically the first indicator that the vacuum has degraded, after which the annular space is re-evacuated through the tank's vacuum valve, checked with a helium mass spectrometer leak detector, and, where the insulation includes a molecular sieve or getter material, the adsorbent can be replaced as part of the service. The objective is to define the work required for the specific equipment rather than apply a fixed service package regardless of condition.

Where a formal statutory inspection or re-certification is required, the technical assessment and service work remain separate from the certification decision of the relevant authorized inspection body.
