LPG Skid Systems
KAF Cryogenics supplies LPG skid systems combining a storage tank, piping and selected ancillary equipment on a coordinated skid arrangement. The package is selected for the specified handling, filling or distribution duty. Included equipment, site connections and the boundary between the skid package and the installation are defined in the project scope.
Package Configuration and Equipment
Tank volume, design conditions, valves, piping and instrumentation are selected for LPG composition and operating requirements. Pumps, metering and other ancillary equipment are considered where the duty requires them. A skid system is not a fixed standard package; the component list and arrangement are established for the inquiry.
Site Interfaces and Operation
Define filling and withdrawal connections, receiving equipment, utilities, installation space and intended operating procedure. The tank, piping and component arrangement must fit the agreed equipment function. Site civil works, electrical installation, operational approvals and commissioning responsibilities are reviewed separately from the supply of the skid.
Documentation and Technical Review
Tank and component datasheets, arrangement drawings and the required inspection or test records are defined for the package. Applicable design and destination requirements are reviewed for each part of the scope. Provide the required duty and equipment list so that the LPG skid configuration can be developed around the installation.
Equipment Specification Overview
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Medium | LPG |
| Equipment configuration | Project-configured skid package |
| Tank and piping | Tank volume, nozzle arrangement and piping selected for the duty |
| Transfer options | Pump, meter, valves and instruments where specified |
| Package interfaces | Filling, withdrawal, utilities and site connections |
| Documentation | Package drawings, component datasheets and agreed inspection records |
Equipment configuration, capacity, pressure, materials and documentation are confirmed together for the selected model and project.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in an LPG skid?
The included tank, piping and ancillary equipment are defined in the quotation. Pumps, meters, valves and instruments depend on the selected duty.
Is an LPG skid always an autogas station?
No. The skid can be specified for different handling or distribution applications. Its function and included equipment are defined for the project.
Can the package be adapted to existing equipment?
Interfaces can be reviewed against existing drawings, site connections and operating requirements.
What should an inquiry include?
Specify LPG composition, duty, tank volume, required flow, pressure, site location and the expected supply boundary.
